Build Stronger Services and a More Professional Client Experience
Inside the Collective, you'll join twice-monthly live workshops and discussion sessions (with replays available anytime) focused on the real-world challenges and opportunities that come with building a successful speech and communication coaching practice.
Topics include student acquisition, consultations, pricing, service positioning, program development, teaching techniques, communication coaching, and the practical decisions that shape long-term success. You'll also have opportunities to learn from guest experts and fellow instructors who are actively applying these ideas in their own practices.
As a member, you'll also get Student Practice Portal access for up to 25 students per month.
The Portal gives your students guided practice materials, videos, recordings, and exercises that support carryover between sessions, helping them stay engaged between sessions while reducing the amount of custom material you need to create yourself. The result is a more professional, structured client experience that helps students see the value of your work and feel confident investing in longer-term programs.
Student Practice Portal access for up to 25 active students is included for as long as your Collective membership remains active.

Student Referral Opportunities
I regularly receive inquiries from students and professionals looking for speech, accent, and communication coaching services. When appropriate, I share these opportunities with instructors in our community and direct prospective students to our Teacher Directory.
While referrals are never guaranteed, being part of the Speech Coach Collective can help increase your visibility and connect you with potential students. Referral opportunities are available to active Speech Coach Collective members.
Many instructors join SCC for the training and support, but they also appreciate being part of a professional network where opportunities are shared as they arise.

Speech-Language Pathologists
All Speech Coach Collective live sessions and workshops may be used toward Professional Development (PD) or Continuing Education hours. We currently have more than 180 workshops available in the replay library.
To receive a certificate of completion, please send me:
• The name of the workshop
• The date you watched it (so I can verify completion)
• Your name as you would like it to appear on the certificate
Please note: These are not ASHA CEUs. Registering each individual workshop with ASHA would be extremely time-consuming.

Just for perspective, I personally use PD hours to maintain my CCCs and have done so since 2015, when I realized we don't actually need to use (and pay for) the ASHA CE Registry.
I just track my hours and save my certificates. I was audited once (interestingly, the first year I decided not to pay for the registry!) and providing documentation was very straightforward.
As always, be sure to check with your state licensing board regarding any specific requirements.
Why I Created The Speech Coach Collective
A Message From Jessica
When I started my private practice in 2014, I had no students, no roadmap, and no business background.
Over time, I learned how to attract students, structure programs, charge premium rates, and build a thriving private-pay practice focused on speech, accent, and communication coaching. Today, I maintain a full caseload, work with clients from around the world, and continue refining the systems and services that have shaped my career.
One of the things I learned along the way is that success in this field doesn't come from information alone.
Questions come up at every stage.
How do I find students?
How do I price my services?
How do I handle this consultation?
How do I help this student?
How do I create a program instead of selling individual sessions?
How do I continue growing once I've completed the training?
That's why I created the Speech Coach Collective.
I wanted graduates to have a place where they could continue learning, asking questions, refining their services, and developing the professional judgment that comes from real-world experience.
The Collective gives members ongoing access to my guidance, the experience of other instructors doing this work, and practical conversations about what is working right now.
My goal is simple: to help you build the kind of services, student results, and professional opportunities that create a career you genuinely enjoy and are proud of.
The training may be complete, but your growth doesn't stop there.
