About Me
I am a certified American Accent and Pronunciation Specialist who supports English speakers and learners to master the General American Accent. I love to work with international professionals, immigrants to the US, and other language learners develop the confidence they are looking for in their speaking skills.
I have experience as an accent coach, conversation partner, and ESL tutor, with successful students from over 20 different countries.
Nothing makes me happier than to hear about my students' newfound success at work, making new friends after moving to the US, and meeting other personal and professional goals after working with me!
My Approach
It's time to speak the way you've always wanted to, confidently and comfortably. In my accent training program, I get to know you and your specific goals for accent training.
I also listen to your current speech closely in an initial speech assessment so that I can develop a personalized lesson plan for you based on the sounds you currently produce in your speech, compared to the General American Accent.
In your personalized lessons, we will focus on how to produce the relevant sounds and you will have lots of opportunities to implement them into your current speech, while I support you with pronunciation strategies, conversational prompts, and on-the-spot feedback. I aim to create supportive and safe environment for you to train your accent and pronunciation!
