About Jessica Kijowski
Jessica Kijowski, MS, CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the creator of The Accent Channel Method™ and GlobalVoice™, a professional development pathway that prepares instructors to build specialized speech, accent, voice, and communication coaching services.
With more than 25 years of specialized experience, Jessica has helped professionals from around the world communicate with greater clarity, confidence, and impact. Her clients include award-winning actors, executives, attorneys, physicians, educators, diplomats, engineers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals who rely on effective communication every day.
After completing a postgraduate internship in vocal rehabilitation for performers, Jessica began her career in New York City as an Accent and Dialect Specialist at New York Speech Improvement Services and the internationally recognized Sam Chwat Speech Center. She later served as an Adjunct Professor of Voice and Diction at New York University, where she taught future performers and professional communicators.
In 2013, Jessica founded her own private practice, where she developed a structured approach to speech, accent, voice, and communication coaching through years of working with professionals from a wide range of linguistic and professional backgrounds. As demand for her services grew, she recognized that many instructors wanted more than pronunciation training—they wanted a practical, evidence-informed system for assessing students, designing programs, delivering specialized services, and building sustainable careers.
That realization led to the creation of The Accent Channel.
Founded in 2015, The Accent Channel began as an online platform designed to make high-quality accent training more accessible. Over time, it evolved into something much bigger: a comprehensive professional development ecosystem serving both communication professionals and the instructors who support them.
Today, Jessica's work extends far beyond accent modification. Through The Accent Channel Method™, she teaches a structured, evidence-informed approach to speech, accent, voice, and professional communication coaching. Through GlobalVoice™, she helps instructors develop specialized services, build ethical student enrollment systems, confidently implement their skills, and continue growing throughout their careers.
To date, Jessica has trained more than 350 speech-language pathologists, ESL professionals, educators, communication coaches, and voice professionals from around the world. Many have gone on to develop successful private practices, expand their professional services, transition into communication coaching, and create flexible careers built around meaningful work they genuinely enjoy.
What makes Jessica's approach unique is her belief that professional confidence comes from following a clear, proven, evidence-informed system—not from trying to know every answer.
Whether she's coaching an executive preparing for a presentation, helping an international professional communicate with greater confidence, or mentoring an instructor through their first consultation, her goal is always the same: to help people make informed decisions, communicate with confidence, and continue growing at every stage of their journey.
At the heart of everything Jessica creates is one simple belief:
Helping people build specialized speech, accent, voice, and communication coaching services—along with the confidence to deliver them.
