Long-Term Support for Accent Training

Apr 28, 2022

If you’ve been working with a student for more than a few sessions, I encourage you to start thinking about ways to offer maintenance services and long-term support.

We are all human and as time goes on, we tend to lose the motivation that we need to maintain a new skill, like accent and pronunciation training.  Offering long-term support and guidance to our students keeps them on track and helps them to keep improving.

It’s also a good idea from a marketing perspective.

Offering appropriate products and services to students who already know you, like you, and trust you, is so much easier than finding new students who need a little time and research to decide if you are the right teacher for them.

In this lesson from a recent Live Coaching Session for The Accent Channel Teacher Training Program, we do an exercise to help you develop ways to offer these services to your students.
