About Us
Jessica Kijowski, MS, CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 25 years of specialized experience in accent and dialect training. Her clients span the globe and include award-winning actors, models, executives, attorneys, educators, diplomats, and other professional voice users who rely on clear, confident communication.
After completing a postgraduate internship in vocal rehabilitation for performers, Jessica launched her career in New York City as an Accent and Dialect Specialist at New York Speech Improvement Services and the renowned Sam Chwat Speech Center. She also served as an Adjunct Professor of Voice and Diction at New York University, where she trained future performers and communicators.
In 2013, Jessica founded her own private practice, quickly building a thriving caseload by offering personalized speech improvement and accent training. Recognizing the need for greater access and flexibility, she launched The Accent Channel in 2015—an innovative online learning platform offering self-paced programs, pronunciation courses, and dialect workshops. Her mission: to make expert-level accent training more accessible and affordable without sacrificing quality.
Jessica’s approach is rooted in empowerment. She helps her students feel completely at ease starting conversations, articulating complex ideas, and expressing themselves clearly—no matter the setting. For her, the goal is more than just improving speech—it’s about helping people feel proud of how they sound.
In addition to working with clients, Jessica is also a passionate teacher of teachers. Through her Accent Specialist Certification Program, she has trained over 350 speech-language pathologists, ESL professionals, and educators to become skilled accent and pronunciation coaches. Many of her graduates have gone on to launch their own high-impact private practices and leave behind traditional 9-to-5 jobs in favor of fulfilling, flexible careers on their own terms.
